Libraries Staff Representative Group

The Libraries' Staff Representative Group (LSRG) aims to provide an arena within the Libraries for addressing issues of concern to Libraries staff, including but not limited to benefits, compensation, professional development, replacement hiring, grievances, and leave policies. The LSRG will present such concerns and recommendations for their resolution to Libraries administration and the UGA Staff Council as necessary. The LSRG will also disseminate information, from both Library and University administration, related to these concerns to Libraries staff.

The LSRG typically has at least one member appointed by the University Librarian to the Libraries' Salary & Work-Life Group, and always sends one voting representative to the UGA Staff Council.

The LSRG meets on the second Wednesday of each month (in person, with the option to Zoom in). Meetings are open to any non-faculty classified staff who wish to attend. If you'd like to attend a meeting, please email the LSRG Chair in advance to receive the meeting time, location, and Zoom link.
