Accident Reporting

All University of Georgia employees are covered by state Workers' Compensation laws, which may provide medical and income benefits if you are injured on the job. Workers' Compensation also provides benefits to your dependents if you die as the result of a job-related illness or injury.

Enrollment

Employees are automatically covered under this program at no cost to the employee. No action is required on your part to enroll. View the workplace poster and the Bill of Rights regarding Workers' Compensation.

Procedures to follow

If you suffer an injury while performing your job duties, you should immediately report the injury to your supervisor.
