Join us for an evening of scrapbooking and yapping on February 17 from 6-8:00PM! Paper and scrapbooking supplies will be provided, but please feel free to bring photos, journals, and other personal materials. This will be a low-stress environment, so come meet new folks and enjoy a night of scrapbooking and music!

February Focus:
Fashioning the Classic Bride: A Conversation with Anne Barge Clegg
Join the UGA Special Collections Libraries on Tuesday, February 24th at 6:00PM for Fashioning the Classic Bride with Anne Barge Clegg. A reception and exhibition tour will follow in the hallway and galleries.
Anne Barge is a world-renowned bridal fashion designer, philanthropist, and UGA alumna. Barge will discuss her life and career in conversation with Noel Corbin, curator of the new exhibition "Fashioning the Classic Bride: The Life and Career of Anne Barge" on display in the Hargrett Library Gallery of the UGA Special Collections Building from January 23rd-July 3rd, 2026. This event is co-sponsored by the UGA College of Family and Consumer Sciences.
Grieving & Making: Wellness in the Makerspace
Join us on February 24 from 2-3:30PM for Grieving and Making: Wellness in the Makerspace. In this session, we will explore the connection between art and grief through card making, letter writing, and bracelet making. Whether you want to share about your loss or simply create amongst others, this program is here to help you navigate grief through creativity. Professionals from the UGA Health Center will also be in attendance for support.

Introduction to Data Visualization with Python
Description:
Interested in creating good visualizations for your research but unsure how to get started? This beginner-friendly workshop introduces the fundamentals of turning data into aesthetically pleasing graphics using Python’s most popular visualization libraries. You’ll apply core plotting concepts and create basic charts to communicate your findings effectively. No prior coding or visualization experience is required. This session was designed to give you the essential tools to begin visualizing data with confidence.
