Introduction to Statistical Analysis with Python

Description:

Ready to take your Python skills into statistical analysis, but not quite sure where to begin? This introductory workshop shows you how to use Python to run standard statistical procedures, from loading and preparing your data to executing tests with widely used libraries. We focus on the coding steps involved in performing analyses - such as descriptive statistics, correlations, and linear regression - not on interpreting results or the underlying statistical theory. You don't need any prior experience with Python-based statistics. This session provides the practical foundation you need to start conducting statistical analyses in Python with confidence.

Larissa do Carmo-Inácio, RCDM Graduate Assistant
