2024 Election Recap: A Moderated Panel and Discussion

Please join the Russell Library on Thursday, November 21st at 11:30am, for a panel discussion on the results of the 2024 election cycle. Political reporters from the Atlanta Journal Constitution will join leading scholars to unpack the election outcomes and analyze potential implications for Georgia and the nation. Panelists include Patricia Murphy from the Atlanta Journal Constitution, Trey Hood and James C. "Jim" Cobb from the University of Georgia, and Seth C. McKee from Oklahoma State University.

Congress Week: Former U.S. Representative Steve Driehaus and Former USG Chancellor Steve Wrigley

Former U.S. Representative Steve Driehaus (D-OH) and former USG Chancellor Steve Wrigley will engage in a lively discussion about democracy building, international development, and the continuing importance of civic engagement and public service. This free, public event is co-sponsored by the Washington Semester Program.

Parking is available in the Hull Street Parking Deck, and a reception in the Ted Turner Exhibition Hall will immediately follow the conclusion of the event.

Join us for a virtual program with Mark Pack, former political pollster and current president of the Liberal Democrats, as he discusses his book Polling UnPacked (2022).
