The Georgia Review, Avid Bookshop, and the Athens-Clarke County Library invite the public to a free author event and book signing with Jennine Capó Crucet and Brian Truong. Join us to hear passionate, funny, and thought-provoking work that highlights the difficulties and blessings of living in immigrant communities.
Join Dr. James W. Porter, Josiah Meigs Professor of Ecology, as he discusses and answers questions regarding his half century research and efforts to protect the most biologically diverse environment on Earth. Following the lecture, light refreshments will be served in the exhibition hallway and attendees are encouraged to peruse Hargrett's newest exhibit, "Sunken Treasure: The Art and Science of Coral Reefs."
Free parking is available to Special Collections visitors in the Hull Street Deck, across the street from the UGA Special Collections Building.
Join one of our newly trained student docents for a public tour! This free tour begins in the second-floor rotunda and covers all three galleries, including Hargrett Library's St. Catherine's Island exhibit. Free parking for off campus visitors is available in the Hull Street Deck.
