Fall Into Research: Research Services at the UGA Libraries (Kick-off Event)
The UGA Libraries are here to help you meet your teaching, research, and publishing goals! Join us to learn about our print and digital collections including various item requesting options, course reserves and open education resources. We will highlight our online and in-person instructional support for helping students with research skills, source evaluation, and AI Literacy. We will also discuss research data and publishing services and support for data management planning, research IT services, data analysis and visualization, publishing, and digital repositories.

Join us for an interactive workshop hosted by the UGA libraries where we will introduce you to a new AI literacy eLC course that we have created for instructors. The course includes modules on evaluating AI output, prompt literacy, AI ethics, and AI and research.

When Fiction Remembers: A Conversation on Fiction, History, and the Art of Storytelling with author Anthony Grooms and filmmaker Jesse Freeman
Join the UGA Special Collections Libraries on Saturday, August 2nd at 1pm at the Athens-Clarke County Library for the induction of 2025 Georgia Writers Hall of Fame inductee Anthony "Tony" Grooms, celebrated author of Bombingham and The Vain Conversation. Grooms is an award-winning author, poet, and educator of creative writing for over 30 years.
