Writing Support at the UGA Libraries

The UGA Writing Center offers support to students, faculty, and staff on a wide variety of writing projects. Services are free of cost and available to all UGA writers and recent alumni. The main office of the Writing Center is located in Park Hall (room 66).

In-person appointments are also available at the Main Library, McBay Science Library, and Miller Learning Center.

Main Library

Appointments with Writing Center consultants are held on the sixth floor of the Main Library in room 620a.
 

McBay Science Library

The McBay Science Library hosts two writing support spaces:

  • The Writing Center in room 201 on the main floor is for any UGA student, staff, or faculty member who would like help with the writing process.
  • GradsWrite in room 402 on the 4th floor is for UGA graduate students only.

Miller Learning Center

Appointments with Writing Center consultants are held on the third floor of the Miller Learning Center in room 370.
