In celebration of National Hospital Week (May 12th - May 18th), join the Richard B. Russell Library on Tuesday, May 14th for a Lunch and Learn! Enjoy a guided tour of the new exhibition For All the People: A Century of Citizen Action in Health Care Reform. Afterward, a catered lunch will be provided with discussion about the exhibit while learning more about what the Special Collections Libraries have to offer! The National Library of Medicine produced this exhibition and companion website.

Join The Georgia Review and Avid Bookshop at the legendary 40 Watt for a literary night you won't want to miss. Best-selling writer and music critic Hanif Abdurraqib reads from his newly released book, There's Always This Year, about basketball, life, and home. Emerging bilingual poet Xinyue Huang reads from her book on love, loss, and persistence. Free and open to the public. Book sale and signing to follow. RSVPs highly suggested. 

On April 18th the UGA Libraries will celebrate National Poetry Month with a "Is it Taylor Swift or Shakespeare?" event! Join our tortured poets department to test your Swiftie and Shakespeare knowledge and make friendship bracelets and buttons.
