Participants will learn basic 3D modeling and how to independently operate the MakerBot Sketch Print 3D Printers and Ultimaker Cura Software from an undergraduate peer.

Use patterning and Makerspace sewing machines to make your own cotton canvas tote bag! No experience necessary and all materials provided. Registration is required.

Don't navigate your grief alone! Join us on April 28 from 2-3:30PM in MLC 369 to create a cross stitch keepsake in memory of a loved one or pet. Whether you want to share about your loss or simply create amongst others, this program is here to help you navigate grief through creativity. Professionals from the UGA Health Center will also be in attendance for support. No experience is necessary! 

Gear up for UGA's annual spring scrimmage by making your very own button! Select from a range of premade designs or bring your own (2.25 inches). Limit of 2 buttons per person.

The Colonnade is located outside on the east side of the building, near the security desk and Jittery Joes.

Join the UGA Special Collections Libraries and the UGA Libraries Student Success Team for a collaborative and creativity-fueled Board Game Jam on April 21st in MLC 369. Bring your imagination as we transform old board games from the UGA Special Collections Libraries into something entirely new.

This event is for UGA faculty, instructors, and graduate teaching assistants who teach evidence synthesis.

The Faculty Interest Group on Evidence Synthesis in the Classroom welcomes Dr. Terri Pigott, Professor at Georgia State University and nationally recognized expert in meta-analysis and evidence synthesis, for a lunchtime talk on teaching scoping and systematic reviews. Dr. Pigott is a 2023 Fellow of the American Educational Research Association, past President of the Society for Research Synthesis Methodology, and co-editor-in-chief of the journal Research Synthesis Methods.

Join the UGA Special Collections Libraries and the UGA Libraries Student Success Team for a night of games on Tuesday, March 24th from 5:00-7:00PM in the Sidney Samuel Thomas Reading Room at the Miller Learning Center (MLC). Pizza, snacks and drinks will be provided.

At the event we will hear lightning talks (3 minutes) on five historic games from students in Dr. Akela Reason's "Hands-on Public History" HIST 4760/6760. Following this introduction, students in the course will lead play on replica games represented in the holdings of the UGA Special Collections Libraries.
