Each panelist will discuss perspectives on the effects of ChatGPT on research and the University. Light refreshments will be provided.
In celebration of Black History Month, join us Tuesday, February 21, 2023, for a screening of Donald L. Hollowell: Foot Soldier for Equal Justice. This documentary chronicles the civil rights attorney's legendary achievements, including serving as lead counsel in Charlayne Hunter-Gault and Hamilton Holmes's case which ultimately ended desegregation at the University of Georgia. Among Hollowell's other notable achievements were the release of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Cameron Berglund: designer, artist, educator and recent full time lecturer at UGA’s College of Environment and Design will facilitate a creativity lecture followed by a sketching workshop as a part of the 2021 Spotlight on the Arts Festival! Join for a short lecture on the role of sketching in creativity, drawing upon Professor Berglund’s life and experiences. A participatory site sketching session at the MLC Reading Room follows. No prior knowledge or experience needed! Necessary equipment will be provided!
