Donated to the Hargrett Rare Book and Manuscript Library in 2021, the Richard Hudson Collection contains hundreds of titles published over the course of four centuries that explore themes and issues related to homosexuality. From 17th century literary works depicting queer characters to more modern editions that explore human sexuality, the rare books are often complemented by related manuscripts in the collection.
